It is always mentioned in the description if the owner lives in the property or if some areas of the property are shared with other guests, which is usually a case with apartments in a multi-units building. If this is not mentioned, you will have the entire accommodation for yourself.

Contessa villas now features properties that can be booked for up to a year.

The person making the booking must be over 18 years old.

Depending on the property provider, it is possible that a group of young people will not be accepted in the property. Please read the description carefully before making a reservation. For properties where nothing is mentioned in the description, everyone above age of 18 is welcome to book a villa or apartment with us.

Guest can modify or cancel their reservation with us.

You can find the cancellation policy under "Terms and Conditions".

Cancellations or booking modifications generally have to be sent in written form via e-mail. Please include your booking reference and be aware of due cancellation fees.

To modify the reservation, please include all changes to the reservation (the number of people, names of guests, and/or another date of the holiday beginning or ending (needs to be reported at least 30 days before arrival). The first reservation change is done without any additional charge, if possible. Each subsequent change will be charged in the amount of 15 euros/change. In case that the reservation change is not possible, and the Guest gives up on the already confirmed reservation, the terms listed in Terms and Conditions are applied.

The date when the written cancellation notification is received by the Agency represents the basis for the calculation of all the cancellation charges. In case the written cancellation was not received within the working hours of the Agency, the cancellation date is considered to be the next working day:

• If the Guest cancels a reservation before paying the rest to the total reservation amount, he/she is not obligated to that remaining amount of the total price.
• If the Guest cancels the reservation after paying the rest of the total price, the money of all the deposit payments will not be refunded, but used to cover the costs of the late cancellation.

Any of the paid deposits, as well as the one which confirms the agreed reservation, are not refundable.

We will process your cancellation or modification during office hours (Mo-Fri 9am-5pm GMT+2).

You will receive the confirmation of the cancellation/modification and the cancellation invoice from the specific provider of the holiday home.

When you meet the host for key handover, walk through the property together and address potential issues immediately so the owner can fix them.

If you receive the keys in another way, please contact the host immediately.

Every property has a detailed description of its amenities that are included. If you have any additional request (crib, for example), please contact our customer support team.

If you damage or break something at the vacation rental you are staying in, contact the property owner. If the damaged item needs to be fixed or replaced right away, the owner will advise you on how to proceed. Please note that the owner may retain some or all of your deposit to cover damages caused.

It is possible to pay for the stay with a credit card or via bank transfer.

Payment policies depend on the terms and conditions of the property owner. Some may ask you to pay 30-50 percentage of the total fee up front, with the remaining percentage being paid at the end of the stay.

A deposit is a down payment given in advance and kept by the property owner during your stay. The deposit is paid upon your arrival in cash; the amount will be communicated in the reservation confirmation.

The owner may use this money in case you cause damages to the vacation rental. If the damage exceeds the security deposit, the guest will cover the total cost of the damage.

If there aren't any damages, you will get your full deposit back at the end of your stay.

The usual check-in time iz 4pm, while check-out is at 10am. However, you can directly discuss personalized check-in and check-out times with the owner, whereas some properties only allow specific time slots. If this is the case, you can find this information in the Terms and Conditions of the provider of the vacation rental or at the web page listing.

A week before your arrival, communicate with the owner to discuss when and where you can pick up the keys or follow the instructions given in your booking details. Most owners will greet you upon your arrival and give you keys in person. It works the same way for returning the keys to the rental owner at the end of your stay.

If your arrival differs from the check-in timing please contact the provider for an agreement.

For privacy reasons, we can't provide the owner's contact details until the booking is completed. However, our support team is available to answer any questions you may have about the property.

For security reasons we do not provide exact addresses. You can always verify the approximate position of the accommodation through our integrated map.

When traveling, we recommend that you:

• Always travel with your ID.
• Bring your rental contract along with the owner's contact details.
• Bring your personal liability insurance details in case of an accident.
• Check for possible covid-test alerts
