Family Villa Tia***** with a rustic touch and a pool on Krk

Luxury Villa Tia***** is a beautiful holiday home in a picturesque setting of the island of Krk with a fabulous garden and pool. Your Croatian vacations can start here!

Located only 7km away from the sea, the villa surrounded by greenery provides peace and quiet for travelers looking for a comfortable place to stay, while still being close to all tourist attractions.

The interior of the villa is rustic with a contemporary flair so it feels warm and cosy. The villa can accomodate up to 8 persons in three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. There are two bedrooms with a double bed and a bedroom with two bunk beds for four persons. The bedrooms are located on the first floor.

On the ground floor guests can enjoy the spacious living room, dining room, kitchen and a bathroom. The villa is air-conditioned and free internet access is available. Villa has a konoba - a traditional colder part of a house on the Adriatic coast where people used to keep wine, olive oil and food. There is now a sauna and a mini gym.

A large outside living area with a fantastic olive tree and BBQ has the pool as the central point. Dip in the water and relax on sun loungers while your kids play around the garden and forget the outside world for a moment. Free wifi, TV and air-conditioning are there to make your stay more enjoyable.

When you're ready to go exploring and getting to know the local culture, take a bike and ride along 300 kilometres of cycling routes or rent a car to visit some really nice places around the island. You can also rent a boat in Malinska or book a tour to get to uninhabited islands and secluded bays. You can get on a ferry at Valbiska port for a short island hopping to Cres, Rab and Lošinj or maybe cross the Krk bridge to visit Rijeka and Opatija, bigger towns on the coast.

If you want to spend a day at a beach, it's good to know that some of the most beautiful bays and cleanest beaches are only a 10-minute drive away from the villa.

Two most popular beaches on the island are the Baska beach and the Meline beach.

The Baska beach is located at the very tip of the island. It's a 2 miles long pebble and sandy beach with lots of bars, restaurants and kids' fun zones around. You can also rent a jet ski or go windsurfing here.

Another famous beach is the muddy beach Meline at Cizici where you first cover yourself in mud and then go swimming. The mud is supposed to have great minerals which is good for your skin and it's also a lot of fun getting dirty this way.

For those who are into wine and dine, we recommend going to local restaurants for a taste of local cuisine. Try fresh fish and shells, homemade pasta with tomatoes or truffles, homemade cheese served with domestic olive oil and salt and order a glass of local white wine Zlahtina. Croatians specially love grilled meat, and their favourite meat dishes are lamb and cevapcici (meat fingers served with onions and ajvar, a type of relish, made from red bell peppers and garlic). The best winery is located in Vrbnik, a small charming town on a hill, so it's worth visiting.
